Ooh, I like the sound of your outfits. I haven't decided on what colour dress I want yet. I do know that I want a dress. I really really hate traditional wedding dresses. Those big puffy white things that look like cupcakes. So I know I don't want one like that.
I'll probably go for white, just because it's a colour I never wear, so it will be kind of special in that sense. I'm thinking of something kind of flowy, hippie-ish, past the knees but above the ankles.
I don't know what David will wear (my fiance), but he wants to break away from the norm too.
We're going to have an outdoor garden wedding. We found a venue that is an art gallery and has nice gardens and a lawn. The wedding will be outside, and we're going to have an outdoor buffet as well. We'll invite about 55 people. For me, it's a bit bigger than what I wanted, but about 25 of those people will be family. Only four of my family will be there, because the rest live far away (David's family all lives close by, so he'll have around 20 family members there!).
I don't want anything too formal. I basically just want it to be a happy day where everyone I care about is together and eating a meal together. I like the idea of a buffet because then everyone can just pick out what they actually want, and not be given a plate with stuff they might not want. Also, it's more casual that way just to have people getting their own food.
Hmm yeah. It's still a year and a month away. My older sister is getting really excited about it and offered to be my wedding planner. She wants to book and organize everything for us, hehe. It's nice :)
